The latest General Air Products webinar — a joint presentation with SPP Pumps — was focused on dealing with equipment in the field. Scott Monroe from SPP Pumps covered installation and maintenance of NFPA-20 fire pumps and controllers, including fire pump main controllers and starting methods, transfer switch considerations, jockey pump sizing and installation, fire pump installation and required accessories. The General Air Products portion of the webinar focused on the installation, operation, and maintenance of air supply equipment for dry and pre-action systems. Participants walked through a step-by-step process for proper installation of typical fire protection air compressors and accessories.
